JUST A PIC AND A COMPLAINT;]

Went easter shopping for peter cotton tail tonight and let me just sayyyyyyyyyyyy its soooooo annoying that you have to shop a month in advance to get the good stuff.Got a work out running from one store to the next for the basic things.Target didnt even have grass :O.I knowwww,its my fault for waiting so long,but stilllllllll:!!!I did have fun looking at all the cute stuff that was left and I treated myself to lilac colored snowballs for dessert:>,YUM!

DONT SWEAT IT !!

We are but a tiny speck of energy on mother earth.That being said dont sweat the small stuff!!!Heck,dont sweat the big stuff either for that matter!Just..., move on.Be a posetive speck,be a glass 1/2 full(not empty).No matter what "sh--" hits the fan of your life,being a posetive speck will ultimately benefit your time here on this spectacular earth and also those you love!Not to mention the extra brownie points you'll get at the pearly gates,heehee. MY HUBBY

He comes in from work ,pets the dog , says hi to us all and asks how we're doin.Then on a mission ,he makes all his work calls and orders etc .Next the poor baby crashes on the couch like clock work !My man is such a hard worker,loving dad ,awesome "patient"(im a pain in the butt:>) husband that it boggels my mind!!!!!!!!!Hes gonna kill me For this bottom pic but he looked so cute I couldnt resist:}.Heres to you sweet pea!!! Today was a good day!I had some awesome news about my dads health and while waiting on that news I was treated by my brother to an incredible slice of ,we will call it, stuffed pizza.It reminded me of the sausage bread my gram used to make .Here is a pic of her kitchen and her old pal Georgie(he's since sprouted angel wings:{ butttt he had a long good life and was a very comical little guy;],miss him).Anywhooooooooo I am a grateful girl tonight whos been humbled by the power of prayers:>.Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAGNOLIA-TREAT-GARDEN TEA PARTY

This is a gorgeous magnolia blossom from my friend Annes tree.Her daughter Sabrina was kind enough to steal me one this morning when I picked her up for school(we carpool).Thanks sweetie,you started my day off on the right foot;]

I am a tad sick so treated myself to one of my favs .I am addicted to fast food:O( its just sooo good:>)I decided to focus on getting well today instead of the laundry etc and watched 2 movies.One was Julie and Julia which I totally loved.If you grew up with your mom watching Julia Child and you like cooking then you'll love this movie.I used to pretend I was her in the bathroom mirror,doing her voice and all while I cooked toothpaste soup etc(actually a very happy memory of mine:}).Then I watched The Proposal with Sandra Bullock.I liked it!Not my favorite of hers but it was a cute and happy flick. Here is the beginning stages to my Garden Tea Party.Coupon clippings for all the ingredients I'll need to whip up a proper garden party.Maybe this year I'll actually have a real garden to do it in,lol. I hafta try and time it to when the pain in the coolie bugs arent around so much,hmmmm??

Oh, I just took another movie break before posting this.I watched yet again ,Bridgette Jones Diary.You just hafta love this flick! Its sooo my 20 s(even though shes in her 30s in this movie;].Good stuff!(I know, its insane that ive watched 3 movies in "one" day.I was serious when I said I was taking a getting well break :>) Catch ya tomorrow ;]

SLINKY - RICE CRISPY TREATS - BEEF STEW

Annabella and Cliff went to docs today .On the way home they went to pharmacy to pick up their meds and Cliff got Anna a treat.A pretty rainbow slinky.Plastic but the little guy worked really well! Its mesmerizing to watch it go down the stairs.Cooooolllllll ;](ludwig is in a trance to,lol)

Excuse the stuff piled on the stairs.Realistically its there more often then not :.

This is a HORRIBLE pic of my rice crispy treats .I ment to take another pic after I used a cookie cutter to make them the shape of eggs but apparently I forgot.Duhhh,sorry!I promise they are now cute and very yummy.we made them for the circus we are going to tomorrow.The tickets where a gift to Anna from my pal Anne.Thanks anne,we all cant wait :]!! oh treats are 3 tbls butter melted in pan,add 1 bag marshmellows,melt down stirring on med heat.take pan off flame and add 6 cups rice crispy cereal(or any cereal really)stir quickly and spread out on buttered cookie sheet (or i use non stick tin foil with no butter)now butter your finger tips and flatten out the treats.Use a buttered large knife to cut or a buttered cookie cutter for shape.you can add food coloring to the marshmellows if ya want to color them but work fast.Sprinkles are good to while still warm or melted chocolate drizzeled over the top.our favorite so far is just plain.I swear i can eat the whole tray myself :\

Heres the little mama doing one of her favorite things(really!).Peeling potatos for my beef stew(oh and i swear this is not the only clothes she owns,heehee,she just loves this dress aunt ria got her and has been breakin it in lately so to speak)

This is the stew my mom always made.Just throw a package cubed beef,which is about 10 pieces into a pot ( I cut them smaller into bite size pieces which will make 10 pieces into about 20ish),add 1 pkg peeled diced carrots,bite size,in there to(about 6 carrot) ,now throw in about 6 potatos peeled and cut into about double bite size pieces(they shrink as they cook and fall appart making your stew nice and thick).Now top off your pot with water ,add salt to taste(needs alot)some onion power and garlic powder and that it! stir occasionally for about 2 hours or untill as thick as you like(a nasty foam will form on top a couple of times,just skim it off with big spoon and throw it out,i believe its the fat coming off the meat)If it tastes to raw add more salt,onion power .

Your pot will be almost half as full as when ya started as it cooks down and thickens. I wouldnt freeze this but in the fridge will be fine for at least 6 days.

Oh you can always add different veggys in there if ya want;],enjoy!!!

THE LIGHT !

Anything on your mind????Alittle sad,mad maybe,wish something was different.Find a quiet place(just for 5 minutes or more if you want,lock yourself in the bathroom and stuff cotton in your ears if your a mom;])),Light a pretty candle(any one will do as long as "you" like it).Now concentrate on the candles flame .Let yourself relax and the candle blur into a ball of light.Now in the light envision what you wish was so(only good ,nice things please!).Dont focus on the bad part but on the good you would rather it be.See it clearly ,enjoy it,pray for the lord to please make it so.Let hope fill you up.Now gently blow out your candle and let your renewed posetive energy lead you . o.k I hope I didnt freak anyone out here,heehee.Just really wanted to use this pic and I've meditated and prayed to candle light before so I figured, what they heck.Let me share my weirdness with you all :}.The worst thing that can happen is you'll have givin yourself a few minutes peace ;].Lord knows that cant hurt!

PLAYED HOOKIE TODAY :]

My daughter Anna was under the weather today and my son Bill has been lookin wiped out lately soooooo I had them both stay home from school.I am not usually easily swayed for sick days but because of some health circumstances in the family I want the kids to stay as healthy as posible(not that I dont always want that;]).Anywhooooo we ended up having a Great Day!!First Annas favorite for lunch,Wendys.Then off to the dollar store for a couple of treats .After that was all our favorites.The little farm by my house.It used to be a real dairy years ago and the people who run the place are soooooo sweet its amazing!!There is even a wee candy ,ice cream ,soda, type country store in the barn.Today we were especially treated with 3 new members.2 baby lambs and 1 sweet lama ;].Hope you enjoy the pics !And hey,always remember to smell the roses my friend(even if it comes in a surprising pig scent,lol)

My daughter Anna got a cute "catch a bug" gift from the St Patricks Day leprechaun ;].She caught a disgusting centerpede-milipede type of worm thing.GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!She likes him though and thats all that counts right,ickkkk. Another unbelievably gorgeous day.Got my chores and stuff done and then hit my shameful back yard.This is a part of the back of the house.Cliff made me this table to do my crafts and potting out here and he also made the little house which I'll use to store my small garden tools etc.The hose is right here to for water and clean up which is great but there is one small problem.The space is ugly :\!!!! Oh course I have plans for it ;].I am going to sketch up a design of what I wanna do here and then post it .When alls said and done you let me know how I did(On a small budget ;]).Any suggestions are always welcome and appreciated!

UGHHHH ,This is the garbage pail I use to clean up leaves,sticks etc from the yard.When its full I throw it down the hill out in my back yard.Yup, today by accident I heave hoed with a bit to much gusto .Pail and all went flying down the hill.It may not look like it in pic but its pretty steep and scary down there(sooooo I left it for my hubby to retrieve ;]).All in all it was great playin outside for awhile today.If all goes well ,tomorrow is thrift store day.I cant wait to see what kinda "you know what" I find this time,lol.LOVE IT!!!
