O.k I didnt finish the chicks but the pom poms are done and here is how you make them.First you cut about a 12" length of your yellow yarn(or pink,lavender etc).
Then I wrap the yarn with even tension around two fingers(need a manicure,sorry:/) 5o times for a rather small pom pom and 75 times for a slightly bigger one.If you want bigger pom poms(and dont we all,hee hee(sorry couldnt pass that up;}),you can use three fingers and wrap longer etc.
When your done wrapping, carefully slide yarn off your fingers and place on top of your string like so.

Nowww carefullyyyy lift two side strings and try and keep it all nice and centered as you tie a "very" tight knot.
Now use your sharpest scissors to cut down centers of the two bundles you made.
Tadaaaaaa!It will be messy untill with very sharp scissors you give it a rather vigorous haircut to the shape and size you want(fun!)
Thought this was to cute not to post.Uncle Jimmy came over last night and Anna trapped him in her imagenary class room.She loves playing the teacher and" learnin" people as she would say(I should correct that but its to dam cute:>).As usual Uncle Jim was a very patient student and even posed for a pic,thanks Jimbo,lol!
