UNCLE JERRYS CUCUMBERS TURNED PICKLES

THE LARGEST CUCUMBER I GOT FROM MY UNCLE JERRYS GARDEN WAS ABOUT 10 " LONG :O.

CUT THE ENDS OFF (ALWAYS TAKE OFF ONE INCH FROM BLOSSOM END,BACTERIA THING) AND SLICED THEM INTO SPEARS AND CAREFULLY LOADED THEM INTO JARS ABOUT A INCH AWAY FROM LID

FOR ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS GO TO THE SITE I FOLLOW ON UPPER LEFT OF BLOG "EAT PRAY LOVE". ITS MY FRIEND ANNES SITE AND I GOT THE IDEA FROM HER. ONCE I TRIED THE ONES SHE MADE I HAD TO MAKE MY OWN!!!! THANKS ANNE!!!!!

THIS IS THEM BEFORE I BOILED THEM FOR 10 MINUTES IN JARS

THIS IS THEM ALL DONE. COLOR CHANGES AND YOU CAN EAT THEM IN AS LITTLE AS 3 HOURS!
THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!!!!!!

OH IF YOUR GARLIC TURNS BLUE OR GREEN DONT SWEAT IT.ITS SOME KIND OF CHEMICAL REACTION TO COPPER IN THE WATER BUT THEY ARE STILL FINE TO EAT. FREAKED  ME OUT THOUGH :o !
OH AND FEEL FREE TO ADD A GRAPE LEAF INTO JARS TO KEEP PICKLES CRISP :}

ISNT SHE SOOOO VERY ITALIAN AND BEAUTIFUL!
I SAVED HER FROM GRAMS . SHE CLEANED UP WONDERFULLY!!!
