ANNA -POT ROAST-WITCH

DONT THEY LOOK SO SWEET WHEN THEY SLEEP! DONT BE FOOLED!!! LET IT SLEEP,LOL!!

THROW A BIT OF OIL ON BOTTOM OF POT AND THEN BROWN YOUR  POT ROAST ON ALL SIDES. THIS ADDS A TON OF FLAVOR TO THE WATER YOU WILL ADD.

THROW IN A BIG ONION CUT INTO FOUR .

FILL POT WITH WATER (I USE A BIG PITCHER SO I DONT HAVE TO MOVE HOT POT!)


ADD SALT ,PEPPER,WHATEVER YOU LIKE. I FIND IT DOES NEED QUITE A BIT OF SALT. IF YOU TASTE IT ,YOU SHOULD TASTE THE SALT IN THE WATER! IF YOU DONT THEN ADD MORE!!!(SEE HOW DARK THE WATER IS ALREADY. THATS ALL THE FLAVOR FROM BROWNING THE MEAT FIRST!

                                             LET IT COME TO A BOIL AND THEN TURN IT DOWN TO A SIMMER AND COVER .(STIR ONCE IN A BLUE MOON) LET IT COOK FOR AT LEAST 4-5 HOURS!!  THE LIQUID WILL HAVE REDUCED QUITE A BIT . TAKE OUT MEAT ,STRAIN LIQUID AND PUT LIQUID BACK IN POT. TURN IT UP HIGH AND LET IT REDUCE SOME MORE AND ADD A COUPLE TBSP OF FLOUR (MIX FLOUR IN A CUP IN A BIT OF COLDDDD WATER TO MAKE A LUMP FREE MEDIUM THIN PASTE) THEN WISK INTO THE REDCUED LIQUID AND BOIL FOR A COUPLE MINUTES MORE. TASTE TO SEE IF IT NEEDS SALT OF PEPPER ETC. THIS IS NOW YOUR GRAVY!! YUMMMMMM!!

 OHHH WHEN I TAKE THE MEAT OUT, I SLICE IT AND POUR SOME OF THE POTS BROTH OVER IT TO KEEP IT MOIST AND COVER WITH FOIL WHILE I MAKE THE GRAVY!)
