I GOT A NEW ONE FROM COUNTRY DOOR CATALOG (BEDSKIRT). ITS HARD TO SEE IN THE PIC BUT ITS A LOVELY GREEN AND QUILTED.
MY PHONE CAMERA IS A MESS LATELY!!! I DID A NO NO AND PLAYED WITH THE SETTINGS TO MUCH AND NOW IM GETTING CRAP PICS,UGHHHH!!
I FRIED UP SOME THIN CUT CHICKEN CUTLETS FOR QUESIDILLAS. YOU GOTTA TRY IT THIS WAY.
IN A IRON SKILLET I MELTED ONE STICK OF BUTTER ( DONT BE SCARED!)
ABOUT 5 TBL SPOONS CANOLA OIL
APPROX 1/4 CUP FRANKS HOT SAUCE (I USED EXTRA HOT)
I COATED THE CUTLETS WITH TACO SEASONING POWDER AND THE FRIED THEM UP IN THE "HOT " PAN.
ADDED A SMALL SPRINKLE OF SALT TO EACH SIDE AS THEY COOKED.
LET THEM GET A PRETTY DARK GOLDEN COLOR AND THEN FLIP.
LET ME JUST SAY YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!
WOULD BE GREAT JUST AS IS OR IN A SALAD OR SANDWICH!
FRENCH ONION SOUP
ONE MASSIVE VADALIA ONION SLICED UP.
LET IT COOK TILL LIGHTLY GOLDEN BROWN AND VERY SOFT (THIS TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR SO)
DRAIN EXTRA OIL
ADD THREE CANS BEEF BROTH YOU LIKE AND THREE CANS WATER (ONLY WATER IF YOUR BROTH CALLS FOR IT.IF NOT USE MORE STRAIGHT BROTH) CAMPBELLS WORKED GREAT!
LET IT BOIL AND THEN SIMMER WITH TOP ON FOR A GOOD HOUR.
MEANWHILE CUT UP 1/4 INCH SLICES OF FRENCH BREAD AND DRIZZLE A BIT OF OLIVE OIL ON THEM AND COVER THEM WITH SOME GRATED PARM. TOAST IN BAKING TRAY ON 425 FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTE TILL GOLDEN AND CRUNCHY.
LADLE THE SOUP IN PYREX BOWLS
TOP WITH A COUPLE SLICES OF TOASTED BREAD
COVER BREAD WITH GRATED MOTZ (SOME PEEPS USE GYURERE OR SWISS)
PUT IN OVER AT 350 TILL CHEESE IS ALL MELTED
THEN ENJOY!!!

I HATTTTTTTTTTTTE DOING DISHES BUT IF ITS GRAM GALLOS OLD DISHES I DONT MIND IN THE LEAST!! I JUST THINK ABOUT HOW MANY MILLION TIMES HER HANDS RAN OVER THEM AFTER THE MANY MANY MANYYYY MEALS SHE COOKED FOR HER FAMILY. PLUS ALL THE WOMEN, MY MOM, HER DAUGHTER IN LAWS, WHO WASHED HELPING HER OUT ON OCCASSION. RIDICULOUS SPECIAL TO ME!!! THEY ARE MY CHILDHOOD SUNDAYS IN A NUT SHELL!!
AMAZINGLY I WENT FOR A FAST SHORT WALK THROUGH THE NIEGHBORHOOD YESTERDAY AND TO MY HAPPINESS CAME ACROSS THESE GUYS POPPING OUT OF THE COLDDD GROUND. BEAUTIFUL!!
STILL CHILLY BUT I THINK ILL GO OUT THERE AGAIN TODAY??? MAYBE THRIFT STORE TO???

DeleteLove the bed skirt, but you are right it's so annoying to change it, mine stay there for awhile, lol, but you got a really nice one, goes perfect with everything. Yummy onion soup, I have had with the guyere , mozzarella is great too
