Tid Bits etc

I never knew bleach set's rust stains???? Good to know because I use bleach for everything!!

Another use for your herbs. Put them in your vacuum dust holder. You can also use essential oils on a cotton ball and I like the dryer sheet idea! You can stuff the dryer sheet in a vacuum bag if that's the type you have

I want to try this one!

Sorry its upside down ughh! Basically it says to use your cupcake pan with cupcake liners and fill them in layers with ice cream and any yummies you want. I'm thinking a layer of ice cream and crushed oreos with fresh fruit on top and a swirl of whipped cream ,yummmm. Oh and some crushed peanuts :} ! Freeze them for a bit and pop them out at dessert time :}.

Definitely want to try this one!!

Oh and you may have seen this before but I figured its a good time for a reminder. When cutting watermelon and any fruit that's big enough, use your metal cookie cutters for cute shapes. The above is grilled watermelon for a salad :}.

My annual wildflower patch is coming along nicely.

Pop gave me this cute pot which I planted Dave's basil and parsley in :}.

This is the small mini rose bush Mrs. Crimi gave me. I cut it way back like my friend Anne said to do and it issss coming back! Yayyyyy!!!

perennial wildflowers aren't as big as the annual ones but they are growing. There is some weeds in there to but I'm not sure whats what exactly yet because they are so small, so I'll wait to pull the weeds.
Oh i have edged it with the water worn bricks the kids and i collected at a near by beach. I need about 8 more so that means a crab meadow trip soon.

Your probably sick of this plant by now but its my fav spot in the yard. I love the little fountain and the irises are blooming now which kicks it up a notch :}.

Dave gave me some jalapeno peppers and a cherry tomato plant that i popped into the ground against the house. Hope they do well here. It gets lots of sun. Excuse the pillows stuffed into the window. That was my dungeon dweller Bill. He blacks out the basement living room for gaming, ughhh!

I'm still chilly this morning. Thought i would have packed up my winter Jammie's by now but nope!

Cleaning today and then I'm making homemade Salisbury steaks with mashed taters. Its reallyyyy good!!!
I did quite a bit of writing the other night and now I have been going over the whole story because stopping when my computer broke made me lose my place in what exactly should come next, grrr!! I wassss pleasantly surprised though that when reread. I hardly changed anything. My grammar etc stinks but the story flowed nicely, yippeeeee!!!
Have a wonderful day everyone!! Can you believe its Thursday already :O ???

  1. Everything looks great! Love the planter that your daddy gave you, and so happy the rose bush is coming back :-) Roses like banana peels, so if you eat any, bury them in the soil around the root. Love the neighbors new fence too, ever think about painting it with chalk paint? They don't have to know :-), plus eventually it washes off. Next week I am going to dig out the rest of the Montauk Daisies I don't want. If you want more, just leave me something to put them in for ya. Enjoy your garden!!!
