SUNDAY

I made grandma Gallo's zucchini strips today.

You peal the skin off the zuc, then use the peeler to slice off thin strips the length of the zuc, then salt the strips and let the water drain from them for a bit, then squeeze the remaining water from the strips with sturdy paper towels, thennn in small amounts at a time, throw them in a flour salt mixture to coat,thennnnnn fry them in  oil in a hot pan,(separate the strips that stick together a bit before you throw them in the pan. Also don't over crowd the pan or they wont come out as crisp) thennnnnnn drain on paper towel.

If you try it, make a lot because everyone loves them and they go fast!!!! Mine barely make it to the table! Thanks for the yummy zuc Maria T ;] .

We had them with sauce. Shocker, lol.

Tomato's smell soooooo good and alwayssss remind me of my mom and gram Gallo!

Also made a bunch of oreo truffles for cliffs bosses bday and some for us to of course :}.

It was a gorgeous sunny day so cliff and I hit the beach.(Hobart,not shark infested ocean lol)

Gorgeous!!!

When we got there it was almost empty but then the left side filled with everyday usa peeps and our side.....

Filled with lots Arabs and

Spanish and Russian peeps??? No english speakers on our side???
All in all it was a good day! :}
Hope you had a good one to and have another today!
