COOKING DAY

YESTERDAY WAS A COOKING DAY AROUND HERE. BILL MADE HIS BREAKFAST STUFF AND THEN I WENT ON TO MAKE CHICKEN SOUP, ROASTED CARROTS AND ONIONS AND BROCCOLI RABE WITH BOILED TATERS AND GARLIC. 

I BASICALLY FRIED THE BROCCOLI RABE WITH LOTS OF MINCED GARLIC, SALT, PEPPER AND OIL (JUST ENOUGH TO COAT PAN) TILL WILTED AND TENDER. MEANWHILE IN A POT I BOILED SOME CHOPPED AND PEELED TATERS (3). WHEN EVERYTHING WAS COOKED I MASHED IT ALL TOGETHER, ADDED A COUPLE OF TBSP BUTTER AND MORE SALT (SALT IS SO KEY IN ANY ITALIAN RECIPE!!!!!)
THE ONLY THING MISSING IS MY GRANDMAS HOMEMADE BREAD :{.

THIS IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT CANDLE MAKING BUT I AM GOING TO GIVE IT ANOTHER GO AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS?????

SO HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY LINEN CLOSET I CLEANED OUT ..... :}



......SNICKER..., THAT IS SOOOOOO NOT MY CLOSET,LOL. I WISH! I OPENED THE CLOSET DOOR YESTERDAY WITH EVERY INTENTION OF GOING TO TOWN ON THE MESS INSIDE AND THEN..., I CLOSED THAT SUCKER RIGHT BACK UP. TO SCARY IN THERE FOR ME RIGHT NOW. MAYBE ANOTHER DAY ;].
