ROASTED VEGGIES


DID SOME ROASTED VEGGIES TONIGHT FOR ME AND THE KIDS. I USED CARROTS (JUST WASHED,NOT PEELED), ONE BROCCOLI HEAD AND ABOUT 12 SMALL RED POTATO'S QUARTERED. 

I DRIZZLED THEM ALL WITH OLIVE OIL, LOTS OF MINCED GARLIC (ABOUT 5 CLOVES),SOME SALT, ONION POWDER, BLACK PEPPER AND A SPRINKLE OF PARM.

I BAKE THEM AT 450 MAKING SURE I TOSS THEM AROUND A BIT EVERY 10 MINUTES OR SO TILL THEY ARE BROWNED AND TENDER. THESE TOOK ABOUT 35 MINUTES-ISH. SORRY THE TRAY IS ABOUT  3/4 EATEN ALREADY. FORGOT TO TAKE A PIC RIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN :}. WE HAD THEM WITH A COUPLE OF PORTERHOUSE STEAKS I FRIED IN A PAN WITH OLIVE OIL, BUTTER AND GARLIC. WE DEVOURED IT ALL!

THEN I BRIBED THE KIDS TO DRAW ME A ZOMBIE FOR MY KIDS HALLOWEEN BOOK. 

WHEN THEY FINISHED I TOOK THEM OUT FOR SOME ICE CREAM .
WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE HOUSE, CLIFF WAS IN THE BASEMENT WORKING OUT AND REX AND FRED WERE RUNNING RAMPED AROUND THE HOUSE TOGETHER :o. THEY DESTROYED MY BEDDING(JUST MADE IT STINKY, MESSY AND FULL OF HAIR) AND SOMEONE THREW UP ON THE FLOOR :{. UGH, DOGS! OR SHOULD I SAY, UGH, REX!!

OKAY, NEW MOTTO FOR 2017 BELOW.
